Working Principle of Scroll Compressor

  • Air is drawn in through the inlet located on the outer side of the fixed scroll.
  • The air enclosed in the compression chamber is compressed towards the center by the compression chamber driven by rotary motion.
  • The central compression space is minimal, and highly compressed air is discharged outwards through the central exhaust port.
  • The movement actions 1-3 (Suction > Compression > Discharge) are repeated.

  • Hitachi's unique Neo Involute Tooth Profile Technology.
  • During operation, the scroll of the scroll compressor will be at high temperatures due to the absence of lubricating oil cooling. The Neo Involute Tooth Profile Technology developed by Hitachi effectively solves the problem of thermal deformation of the scroll at high temperatures, ensuring the reliability of the scroll compressor.
  • High-reliability bearings with surface treatment are used.

Low Vibration and Low Noise

Easy to Maintain

  • The mid-term maintenance cycle has been extended from the original 4 years or 10,000 hours to 5 years or 12,500 hours.
  • The maintenance cycle for 1.0MPa pressure specifications remains 4 years or 10,000 hours.
  • By adding grease injection ports, grease can be filled without disassembling the moving/fixed scrolls of the scroll compressor main unit. This greatly simplifies the maintenance procedures.

Energy Saving under Multi-Compressor Compound Control

  • Based on P-mode control, multi-unit compound control has been added, and it can be switched between the two with simple operations on the control panel.
  • In multi-unit compound control mode, the number of operating main units is automatically controlled based on the air intake consumption, achieving optimal compressor operation while ensuring the required pressure.

P-mode Control

  • Similar to pressure switch control, if the pressure reaches the maximum pressure, the compressor stops operating. When the pressure drops to the recovery pressure, the compressor restarts operation.

Multi-Compressor Compound Control

  • The compressor discharge pressure is automatically controlled near the required pressure (control pressure).
  • Avoids power consumption required for pressure to reach maximum pressure, thereby achieving energy-saving operation.

  • Since multiple scroll compressor main units are installed, continuous air supply for the entire unit can be ensured even if one of the main units fails.

Oil-free Scroll Air Compressor

The stationary scroll and orbiting scroll of an oil-free scroll air compressor move in a small radius plane at specific phases. The orbiting scroll engages with the stationary scroll to form several enclosed crescent-shaped compression chambers. Air drawn into the working chamber is gradually compressed by subsequent crescent-shaped compression chambers and then discharged from the outlet at the center of the stationary scroll. The oil-free compressed air produced by oil-free scroll compressors is widely used in food, medicine, electronics, printing, chemical, precision spraying and other fields.
